Connect: Me, We & Baby
Starts
Feb 3rd!
Try out our strengths-based, 5-week parent-baby therapeutic art program!
This group program is designed to help you further connect with yourself, your baby and other parents. Let's fill your cup!
Sometimes being a parent of a baby can feel a lil' messy...
let's transform that mess into something beautiful!
No artistic ability required! Experience the benefits of a low-pressure environment where you can chat with other parents, have fun with your baby and engage in art activities to build on your strengths as a person and a parent/caregiver.
This program is open to families with a baby under one year.
Carve-out Connect Time
One of the most common complaints of parents with babies is how hard it can be to spend time connecting with their babies! Between the laundry, dishes and ongoing daily tasks, it's not easy to do what many parents want to do - simply BE with their baby! Carve out time to "be with" your baby, while being with yourself and other baby-parents.
Process & Presence,
Over Product
Art-making has a wonderful way of engaging us to be in the present moment. When we can abandon our expectations around the outcome, we can enjoy the process! While this program will involve some guided art activities, the prize is the process, not the product (which you may find similar to parenthood!)
Fill Your Own Cup
Taking care of a little human being can be both fulfilling and depleting! Join in on guided art activities and conversations designed to help you de-stress and fill your own cup - both literally and metaphorically - so you have more to give to your baby and yourself. Enjoy a tea and snacks on us!
Be in Community,
Creatively!
Take a breather in a supportive environment with other parents and participate in a way that feels comfortable to you! Art in community is a great way to build connections and beat feelings of isolation. While therapeutic and supportive in nature, please note this is not a therapy treatment group for Perinatal Mood Disorders.
This is your space to:

-
Deepen your connection and have fun with your baby
-
Develop your own 5 minute tools for grounding, mindfulness, self care and more
-
Explore how to support YOU, while supporting your baby
-
Share with other parents about both the challenges and celebrations
-
Embrace imperfection
-
Discover what strengths and supports you have inside of you and in your community
... All while creating a physical resource to help you remember these things, and act as a memento of the beautiful things that come from the "mess."
